Our fabrics are made with Japan’s NEORON® fibres, a high quality fibre that generates ultra strong negative static and negative ions.

What is

NEORON®?

NEORON® is the next-generation fibre jointly developed by Japan’s Teiken and Nefful International after years of research and development, creating more colour variations and textures for comfort wear and styling .

The NEORON® fibre boasts of the following features: Superb Heat Insulation, Superior Moisture Permeability, Negative Static Electricity and Excellent Flame Retardancy – all of which are excellent at helping to boost our body’s natural immunity and upkeep optimal bodily functions.

Ultra Strong Negative Static Electricity • Negative Ions

The NEORON® fibre will generate negative static electricity • negative ions through friction, by rubbing against the skin or other fibres.

Superior Moisture Permeability

The NEORON® fibre does not absorb water or perspiration. It dries quickly, keeping your skin dry and comfortable and warm.

Excellent Heat Insulation

NEORON® is a fibre with low heat conductivity. It has excellent heat insulation capabilities to prevent loss of body heat, keeping your body temperature consistent.

Outstanding Flame Retardancy

NEORON® fibre is a retardant material that is able to contain the spread of flames. NEORON® bedsheets and blankets are recognised as a fire prevention product by Japan Fire Retardant Association.

Awards & Accolades

Teviron is Nefful’s first generation fibre material and predecessor of NEORON® fibre. When Teiken Japan invented its own fabric in 1955, it was widely popular in a short time and helped numerous people. This creation brought a new concept and technology in the history of garment making.

1959 - Highest honour in the Fiber sector.

1960 - Presented by the late Hirohito Emperor of Japan.

 Safety Certifications

  • REACH Regulations

    NEORON® fibre complies with REACH regulations which supervise chemical substances for the protection of human health and environmental conservation.

  • Oeko-Tex Standard 100

    NEORON® fibre was awarded the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label in 2018. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. Here are some testing guidelines the label entails:

    - Does not contain any cancer-causing or oxidating substances
    - Does not release heavy metal contents in the event of human perspiration
    - Does not contain formaldehyde
    - Does not irritate the skin or create allergenic reactions
    - Production procedures do not cause any form of pollution to the environment

  • TÜV SÜD Radiation Test

    NEORON® samples have been sent for testing of gamma radiation and results have shown that the fibre is safe to use.

  • Boken Quality Anti-Bacteria Test

    Boken Quality Evaluation Institute (Taiwan) has tested wth NEORON® fibre samples and certified NEORON® to have excellent anti-bacterial effects.
